This photograph is meant to depict beauty in its non-traditional sense. The beauty being represented here, is in what’s to come, not necessarily what is directly visible to the human eye.

 

The hue of the coming sunrise is providing a partial orange glow to an otherwise dark sky. The calming glow can also be seen reflecting in the water, while the surrounding city remains dark and slightly ominous; seemingly waiting for the light to touch it and bring it to life.

True beauty is all around us, even in this serene scene, before “traditional” beauty arrives. This photograph reflects the landscape preparing itself to capture the true allure that the coming sun will bring. True exquisiteness is found in the potential of what’s to come...
